"The trouble is, you think you have time" - Buddha

The truth.. we think we have time... but this is the only thing we don't "have", we can't buy and we will not get back if we have wasted it.
Most of the days we forget about these facts and tell ourselves, someday I will change the things
I don't like, leave the job I hate, stand up for the things that matter, live with the people I love and give up everything that stops me from living the live I have ever wanted.
We think a day more or less doesn't matter because we "know" at some point we will change it anyway...
But the day we realize it and we are ready for the change, we will have less time than we have thought and it'll be too late.

We rather waste time in front of the TV, watching stupid shows, instead of talking to people, read a book to each other or just simply watch a sunset.
We use our phones more than our hearts, than what we see there is what we think we want.
We forget about the beauty we see, when we just walk out the door, the ability to go wherever we want because our body and mind let us, and the fact that we are living in a society where we can make decisions.
We take people for granted, hurt their feelings and in the end we pity ourselves for the chances we have wasted. By telling ours everyday how complicated live and things are, we don´t see that many chances are passing by... and not coming back.

Of course it takes courage to do it, to "step aside" and get a different view on things but how do we want to be an example for our friends, our children and the people who are looking up to us, if we can´t be one for ourselves?  Our only limit is our mind...
Those thoughts arose from a conversation I had with by best friend Stefan, who is fighting an unwinnable battle...
He wishes he would have changed things
before he ran out of time.

"Stefan, you know I will only be able to hold your hand for while longer, but hold your heart for a lifetime..."

hi I found out about your website recently. I like your view on life. Your thoughts might not change the world but they might change the thoughts of people on the world and live. Would love if you could contact me. Praying for your friend.
