When I first visited the Dolomites, I was standing speechless in front of the
almost endless (at least many years ago I felt like that :) ) walls and summits and I never thought I would be able to climb any of it.
Only a few people understand the incredible love and "relationship" I have with those mountains.
For me the Dolomites are not just a beautiful place, those mountains are like a home where I feel nothing but freedom and passion.
Problems disappear for a while and for a moment time stands still.
I haven't shown many people "my" places in the Dolomites, only to those I knew they would understand my love for it and would appreciate it, although sharing it, was always my favorite part being there.
The past days brought me back to my childhood where I was standing in front of the "never ending" mountains, the breathtaking feeling and the fast heartbeat when I reached the top... I watched an amazing sunset, climbed wild walls and saw the most beautiful nature... and I wish I would have been able to share all of these moments with the one person that means the most to me...
MEMORY IS A WAY OF HOLDING ON TO THE THINGS YOU LOVE,
THE THINGS YOU ARE AND
THE THINGS YOU NEVER WANT TO LOSE.
